Resumen:
Las impresionantes propiedades del grafeno hacen esperar de él grandes cosas en un futuro cercano. Posee una altísima conductividad eléctrica y térmica, pero además tiene una resistencia 200 veces superior a la del acero a pesar de ser tan ligero como la fibra de carbono y aunque más flexible que éste. Es transparente a la luz y al ser alcanzado por ella genera electricidad. Además, es barrera total para los gases y casi imposible de rayar por su dureza y elasticidad. Todas estas propiedades ya casi nos permiten tocar las primeras pantallas flexibles, baterías más ligeras o procesadores más potentes. España es uno de los grandes productores de este material.

Abstract:
The amazing properties of graphene make great things expected of it in the near future. It has a high electrical and thermal conductivity, but also it has a resistance higher than 200 times that of steel despite being as light as carbon fiber and even more flexible than the latter. It is transparent to light and to be reached by it generates electricity. Also, it is complete barrier to gases and almost impossible to scratch for its hardness and elasticity. All these properties allow us to touch the first flexible displays, batteries, lighter or more powerful processors. Spain is one of the largest producers of this material.
